Never been much of a hoarder, never had the urge to hang into old clothes, shoes or unnecessary things. Although I have to admit a do have a tendency to collect magazines, specially cooking magazines, I most have hundreds of them spread all over the apartment and once in a while a take the time to read one or another recipe.
I came across this recipe on a Italian cooking magazine (Alice Cucina) but what caught my eye was the title: Buone come il pane, is such a beautiful name for a recipe that I just had to try it with a few changes along the way and trust me they are good!

Ingredients:
500gr de pão seco em pedaços
4 ovos
50gr queijo da ilha ralado
400ml leite
1 alho picado
Algumas folhas de salsa picada
Sal e pimenta

Ingredients:
500gr old bread split in little pieces
4 eggs
50gr parmesan cheese or a similar cheese
400ml milk
1 chopped garlic
Some chopped parsley leafs
Salt and pepper

Colocar a massa no frigorífico durante meia hora.
3-Retirar a massa do frio, fazer bolinhas e levar ao frio novamente durante 1 a 2 horas.
Fritar em óleo quente

Method:
1-Heat the milk but into a tepid temperature, don’t let it boil. Pour the milk over the bread and let it soften.
2-Mix the soften bread with the eggs, the garlic, the cheese and the parsley. Season with salt and pepper and let it rest for a couple of minutes on the fridge.
3-Remove the bread mix from the fridge and mold into little balls, place the balls in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours than fry in hot oil.
